Journal Bot is an SMS-based journaling service that provides users with daily journaling prompts and responses, powered by artificial intelligence (AI). Users interact with Journal Bot via SMS text messages. No additional app is required.

User Responsibility

As a user of Journal Bot, you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information when interacting with the Service.
• Paying any applicable messaging and data rates as per your mobile carrier’s terms.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your phone number and SMS messages related to the Service.
• Agreeing to receive automated daily text messages from Journal Bot, and that standard messaging rates may apply.

Messaging

By using Journal Bot, you agree to receive automated daily text messages as part of the Service. These messages may include journaling prompts, follow-up messages, or responses to your inputs. You may opt-out at any time by replying “STOP” to any SMS message received from Journal Bot. You may also message “HELP” at any time to receive more detailed options.

Fees and Charges

Journal Bot is a free service while in its beta period. However, standard text messaging and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. By using Journal Bot, you acknowledge and agree that these charges are your responsibility and are subject to your mobile carrier’s policies.

Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue Journal Bot, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms of Service at any time, and continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Limitation of Liability

All content, including but not limited to prompts, responses, and text messages generated by Journal Bot, is the intellectual property of Journal Bot and its creator. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
